How It All Began
We’re the Pasquinelli family — Andrew, Alexandra, and our three kids: Rembrandt (8), Davilla (6), and Andretti (4). Our journey didn’t start in the country — it started in the heart of the city, in San Jose, California. Like many families, we wanted more — more land, more freedom, and a lifestyle where our kids could grow up close to animals, responsibility, and the rhythm of the seasons.
Our first stop was Loveland, Colorado — still in town, still city limits. But it gave us the space to start dreaming bigger. We raised our first animals there and began to learn what it meant to live with purpose. Still, something was missing. So we pushed farther out, trading sidewalks for soil — and settled on 30 acres of raw Colorado land in Carr, where we live and work today.
We’re first-generation ranchers — learning fencing, livestock, breeding, and land management by doing. We raise Sawyer-line Spanish goats, Berkshire pigs, and a variety of poultry including chickens, ducks, and geese. And at the heart of it all are our dogs — the Turkish Boz Shepherds.
The Boz is a rare, ancient livestock guardian. These dogs are massive, intelligent, and deeply loyal. We raise them like we raise everything here — hands-on, with respect and intention. They grow up with livestock, land, kids, and a purpose from day one. Not in kennels. Not for show. But to work, watch, and protect.
Boz Colorado isn’t a brand. It’s our family’s way of life — built with effort, love, and the kind of legacy that takes generations to earn.
